Start your visit in our Giftshop which is full of Sprecher memorabilia and as well as beer and soda to purchase. Next, visit the brew house and discover how Sprecher is reviving the Old World brewing traditions that once made Milwaukee famous. Travel through the lager cellar and see the Bavarian murals on display on our bottling room wall.
After the brewery tour, the next best thing to Munich is Sprecher's indoor beer garden, with music and samples from any of up to 20 beers and 10 sodas on draught.
In addition to the regular brewery tours that have been offered for many years, Sprecher Brewing Company has started offering a new option – Reserve Tastings. More information is available here.
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED FOR ALL TOURS
Order Online or call 414-964-2739 between 11am-6pm CST (11am-5pm Sundays) the week of the tour to make a reservation.
The tour of the brewery takes you from our Giftshop to our brewhouse, through our aging cellar to our bottling line and warehouse, all the while guided by a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The tour ends in our indoor beer tent where samples are served and questions are answered. All adults 21 (proof of age required) and older get 4 samples of beer (chosen from up to 20 beers on tap) and a beer tasting glass to take home. Tour participants of all ages get to sample all of our available sodas to their heart's content.
Reserve tastings are done in smaller groups than the regular tour/tastings and feature the company's premier and limited edition products. Each guest will receive 10 samples of Sprecher beers, each paired with a different artisan cheese.
These tastings are ideal for folks looking for a relaxed, all adult atmosphere, for visitors who have been to the brewery previously and are looking for a different experience, or for those who are interested in learning more specific information about our products.
In addition to the tasting, Reserve Tasting guests receive an etched tasting glass that is theirs to take home. Reserve Tastings include admission to the brewery tour immediately preceding the reserve tasting.
Reserve tastings cost $15 per person and are offered on weekends. Tour times vary by demand, so it is best to call ahead for availability.
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the Reserve Tastings. Reserve Tastings are not recommeded for non-beer drinkers or those who may have trouble standing for 30 minutes or more. Senior citizen and military discounts do not apply to reserve tastings. Space is limited, so reservations are required.
Traditionally Tapas are “Small Plates”. Experience Sprecher Brewing Company’s unique twist on this tradition featuring Craft Beer, Artisan Cheese, Nuts, Fruit, and Assorted Gourmet Foods and Snacks. Each guest has the opportunity to sample over a dozen craft beers representing a wide range of styles. Each beer is paired with a “Small Plate” of five to six items selected to specifically to highlight and accent flavors in the pairing. By the end of the experience you will have tried over 80 unique flavors and will learn how pairing changes and enhances the flavors in both the beer and food items. You will try examples of contrasting as well as complimentary flavor combinations and dominant vs. secondary flavors. Additionally you will see how the attributes salty, sour, bitter, sweet, and savory can be combined in foods and beverages for an overall pleasant and satisfying palate adventure.
Cost is $30 per person. Senior citizen and military discounts do not apply.
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to participate in Tapas and Beer. Not recommended for non-drinkers.
Tapas and Beer is generally offered on Thursday evenings, though additional times may be scheduled. Check website for full scheduling information.
