Monday, August 4th 2008, is Sprecher Brewery with The Brew 97.3 Day at the Wisconsin State Fair. We are planning a day full of activities on the grounds as well as promotions and deals related to our day.

Activities at the Fair
- Bring in State Fair Bottle Crowns to win a prize – Collect four "Wisconsin State Fair" special edition printed bottle caps from Sprecher Brewery products (available throughout Wisconsin). Bring the crowns to the Sprecher Brewery tent at the Central Mall on August 4th, 2008, and win a prize for every four crowns you collect!
- Day at the Fair Memory – Personalized Root Beer Bottles: 10 am – 3 pm Choose your photo to be taken with “Rooty” the Sprecher Root Beer mascot, the Sprecher Race car, or an image of State Fair and more. The image will be applied to Sprecher Root Beer Soda Bottles.
- How many crowns fit in a Barrel? 9 am – 7 pm - Guess how many crowns fit in the wooden barrel on site. Win Sprecher product for a year = 12 cases, and more.
- Enter Your Best Recipe! 1:00 pm - Sprecher Brewery will be collecting recipe submissions for a recipe contest to be judged at the Wisconsin State Fair on August 4th. The top three submissions (determined prior to the event) will be judged by Sprecher Brewery, the Brew 97.3, Lucy Saunders, Keg-a-Que and the Beef Council in a Lucy Saunders cook-off, and a grand prize winner will be chosen.

- Prizes for the top 3 finalists: Sprecher Brewery coupon for a case of product and tour pass, $25 beef gift certificate from the Beef Council, a Keg-A-Cue grill, a signed copy of Lucy Saunders “Grilling with Beer” book
- Grand prize: Winner will receive –Sprecher product for a year = 12 cases, $200 beef gift Certificate from the Beef Council, the recipe will be published in the second addition of Lucy Saunders book “Grilling with Beer”.
- Sit & Go TEXAS HOLD’EM tournament - we're bringing in the Milwaukee Elk's Lodge #46 to run this Texas Hold'em tournament
- 12 pm – 5:00 pm: Texas Hold 'em sit and go games. A new game every 20 minutes. Space available on a limited first come first serve basis. Winner from each round receives a prize!
- 5:30 pm – 7pm Finalist tournament: The Finalist Wins – VIP party at Sprecher Brewery includes limited beverages and snacks, and more.
- Sprecher Bingo - First 100 people
- 11 am: Kids game
- 4 pm: Adult game

- 10 am – 4 pm: KIDS ACTIVITIES - Bottle Ring Toss, bung hole toss, Bottle Stand up & Kids Coloring Table. EVERYONE WINS a prize!
- 10 am to 5 pm: Samples of BBQ sauce and Mustards made with Sprecher Products.
- 12 pm and 2 pm: Barrel rolling races. EVERYONE WINS a prize!
- 2 pm to 4 pm: Meet & Greet Randy Sprecher – Founder & Head Brew Master.
- 2 pm to 4 pm: Lucy Saunders book signing “Grilling with Beer”
