The September 2009 edition of Details magazine reviews Sprecher Root Beer and has this to say about it, "Elegant is not a word often used to describe root beer, but thealmost creamy consistency of this honey-and-vanilla tinged specimen from Wisconsin merits the praise." We'll toast to that!

Our very own Black Bavarian made the list, although Hefe Weiss nearly manages to steal the show as the picture accompanying Black Bavarian's profile. Don't ask us why, we certainly wouldn't confuse the two...

Silver Medal - Dopplebock

Gold Medal - Russian Imperial Stout. Not only did we receive a gold for this beer, "...Sprecher Brewery took recognition as the 2007 highest gold medal winner by class."
